An equally sophisticated form of decoration is exemplified by a small cup (HKU.M.2019.2469) that is reminiscent of the first-century CE mould-blowing technique practiced in Syria.

This cup was probably used to serve food or drink. The lower half of the outside wall shows a mould-blown rib design.
