This bottle (HKU.M.2019.2471) shows the strong influence of Syrian designs from the third to fourth century CE. Its shape stands out for the bottle’s long neck and the mould-blown circle decoration on its bulbous body.

This vessel was used to store a liquid. Its glass material is a particularly dark blue and its bulbous body displays a decorative mould-blown design.
